My name is Robin Hobo and work as a Senior Solutions Architect from the Netherlands. I started my IT career in the late 90s and have had several positions since then. From the start my primary focus has always been on End-user computing (EUC), from application management and deployments to implementation of complete new workplaces based on Remote Desktop and Applications (Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Microsoft RDS).
Within the Modern Workplace I specialized in Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) / Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions like Microsoft Enterprise + Security / Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and RDS/VDI solutions like Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD).
In my current position I advise companies with their new modern workplace. I give inspiration and brainstorm sessions to translate the functional requirements into the best technical solution and configuration. In addition, I give workshops/training, create functional and technical designs and implement the solution itself.
I do my job with passion and love working with the technology of tomorrow. I am very eager to learn and do everything what’s possible to keep up with the latest developments. I also love to share my knowledge with others and give back to the community, partly for that reason I started in 2012 with this blogsite on which I post “how to” and “step-by-step” blogs.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me (see social media below).
